We believe that sports reflect the best of life, teaching invaluable values like perseverance, teamwork, excellence, and dedication—principles that resonate far beyond the playing field and into everyday life. We recognize the collective effort required for success, not only from athletes but also from the professionals who support them, including coaches, trainers, medical teams, and countless others. OUR HISTORY

Founded in 2024, The ORTHO Project has its roots in over 25 years of experience from our founder, Dr. Brandon Mines. What began as providing medical support to small high schools in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, grew to supporting collegiate athletes, professional athletes in Atlanta, and even international teams in Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, and the UK.

These experiences revealed a glaring need for greater representation of underrepresented minorities in sports medicine and related fields. The ORTHO Project was created to address this gap by offering students mentorship, resources, and opportunities to excel in areas such as sports law, marketing, media, data analytics, and more.
